Paradise Island offers the Bahamas' most beautiful beaches with every type of watersports in existance, many of the top Caribbean luxury resorts, Las Vegas-style casinos, a spectacular golf course as well as world class entertainment.

Description

The 685 acres of Paradise Island are connected to Nassau by two 600-foot bridges. The island is developed almost exclusively for the delight of the tourists and very few private residences exist on it. Paradise Island contains a wide array of resorts, hotels, restaurants, shops and outdoor activities, as well as your choice of spectacular types of entertainment, a world class golf course, and aquarium, and Las Vegas style casinos.
Paradise Island has everything to keep both water lovers and land lovers satisfied. The ease and freedom you'll find here have no better expression than in the variety and beauty of the beaches - you can even choose your beach's color! Cable Beach, the Bahamian Riviera, and Cabbage Beach, across the harbor on Paradise Island, are the most popular - both stunning sweeps of sparkling sand and water that stretch for miles, and offer easy access to resorts, restaurants, and watersports facilities. Choose from such water sports as sailing, windsurfing, parasailing, water skiing, and snorkeling. Scuba diving here ranks with the best in the world. Underwater viewing includes colorful tropical fish, coral gardens, ocean caves, shallow reefs, and old sunken ships - perfect if you are searching for hidden treasure.
If you would like to set sail, boats of any kind can be chartered for a few hours or a few days, depending on your pleasure. And if all this activity isn't enough, Pradise Island also features horseback riding, bicycling, tennis, three USGA golf courses, and of course, many excursions, tours and cruises for you to take part in.
If you're looking for solitude, you'll find many secluded places to peacefully soak in the sun, stroll hand in hand under the casuarina trees, or teach your children to snorkle in gentle waters. Paradise Island offers something for everyone - the secluded beaches with proximity of Nassau's shopping, dining and nightlife.
