Tamarijn Aruba Beach Resort offers fun, food, drinks, and a stunning location for a perfect island getaway. Swim laps in the pool, borrow a resort bike to explore, or visit underwater worlds with a snorkel and fins. Floats and equipment for non-motorized water sports such as Sunfish sailing, canoeing, and snorkeling are part of the all-inclusive package.

Singles, couples, and families alike can spy on tropical fish while snorkeling, learn how to windsurf, or soak up the sunshine on the pristine beach. Adults may try their luck at the adjacent casino or sip a cocktail by the pool. It's all included. While a neighboring partner resort, Divi Aruba All Inclusive, caters primarily to adults, this resort attracts families from North America, South America, and Europe for casual, barefoot holidays. A small, open-air lobby exemplifies the relaxed ambience. Complimentary golf-cart shuttles transport guests around the grounds and between the two resorts.

A 600-yard beachfront furnished with lounge chairs and thatched-roof shades provides plenty of room for uncrowded relaxing and swimming in the Caribbean Sea. A 65-foot-long, wedge-shaped pool provides freshwater swimming. Use of snorkeling equipment, windsurfers, small sailboats, floats, canoes, and bicycles is part of the All Inclusive Plan.

A large, air-conditioned fitness center contains cardio and weight machines as well as free weights. On the beach outside the fitness center is a 30-foot-high climbing tower fitted with safety ropes and monitored by instructors. Two kiosks in the lobby provide high-speed Internet access for a surcharge. Shops at the resort sell jewelry, beachwear, resortwear, sundries, snack foods, beverages, and gifts. The Alhambra Casino, 0.75 mile away and accessible by complimentary golf-cart shuttle, includes a casual shopping bazaar open evenings--one of Aruba's few after-dark-shopping spots.

As part of the All Inclusive Plan, the resort offers supervised children's activities. Family activities include nightly entertainment such as a live band, karaoke, a limbo show, or a Mexican folklore show. Dance music is provided nightly. Daytime activities include bingo, beach games, pool volleyball, trivia contests, and shuffleboard competitions.

Not included: Wine by the bottle; motorized watersports; massage, spa services, and beauty services at neighboring companion resort, Divi Aruba All Inclusive; child care; Internet access; laundry and dry cleaning; telephone and fax; video games; outside tours and excursions.

As part of their All Inclusive plan, guests staying in deluxe oceanfront rooms are also entitled to use all facilities, including two swimming pools, at neighboring Divi Aruba All Inclusive and also to patronize that resort's restaurants and bars, which are:

Paparazzi - Air-conditioned a la carte restaurant and bar serving Italian cuisine. This attractive upscale restaurant is open for dinner only.
Pizza Bar - Poolside spot serving pizza, snack foods, tropical drinks.
Coconuts - Enjoy views of the resort property and the brilliant blue ocean from this two-story open-air bar.
Bunker Bar - Wooden gazebo above beach with panoramic sea views. This fantastically situated bar is set out over the water and is a long-time favorite of guests.

236 oceanfront guestrooms in two-story buildings arrayed along 600 yards of beach. Buildings are pastel colored with dark-colored wood trim. Rooms feature ground-floor patios or second-floor balconies providing closeup ocean views. Ceiling fans supply a cooling alternative to rooms' air conditioning. Decor is in island style and features tile floors, white walls and ceilings, rattan furniture, and brightly colored fabrics. In-room safes are available (daily surcharge). Smoking is permitted in all rooms.

Rooms are available only in the All Inclusive Plan.
