Almond Beach Village. The resort set on a 19th-century sugar plantation, is huge, spread over 30 acres and has a whole mile of white sandy beach. The resort's 30 acres stretches 0.5 miles along a beach lapped by the Caribbean Sea, with coral reef sections for snorkeling. Shaded hammocks, umbrellas, and lounge chairs are arrayed on the sand. Family and couples alike delight in the numerous activities, excursions, dining, nightlife, fun and relaxation available at the Village.
Almond Village offers guests exquisite swimming opportunities with 2 Jacuzzis, 10 freshwater pools, special children's pools, a north pool for guests 16 and older, five tennis courts, a nine-hole golf course, squash courts, fitness center, and whirlpool all available. Guest can also try their hand at a variety of water sports, including scuba diving, reef fishing, kayaking, aqua cycling, banana boating, snorkeling, sailing, water skiing, and windsurfing.
Four restaurants, four bars, a cocktail lounge, poolside bar, coffee shop, and nightclub are all on the premises. Additional services include car rental, gift shop, laundry, room service, free parking, tour desk, and transportation to nearby shopping areas.

Every week Almond hosts weekly excursions to scenic island destinations for a day of fun, sun, relaxation and unlimited food and drink. In addition, free transportation is provided into Bridgetown, the Barbados capitol, for wonderful local arts and crafts, not to mention duty free shopping.

The Horizon - Open-air restaurant under peaked bleached-wood ceilings. Breakfast, lunch buffets daily. ? la carte dinner menu most nights with choices such as squid-shrimp salad, fried chicken-mushroom wrap, conch chowder, chilled cantaloupe soup with Amaretto and mint, roast lamb, braised duck, seared mahi mahi, French onion tart. Caribbean buffet and Bajan cultural show on Saturday nights, beach barbecue on Wednesday nights. Afternoon English tea served afternoons.
The Reef Restaurant & Bar - Open-air seafront restaurant with white linens, bright-blue plastic chairs, bleached-wood ceilings. Breakfast buffet and fast-food lunch buffet daily. ? la carte dinner menu featuring seafood, with choices such as smoked flying fish, ceviche, baked snapper, bluefin tuna, flank steak. Dinner reservations required. Dinner dress code: long pants, collared shirts for men.
La Smarrita - Grand, air-conditioned Italian restaurant with mahogany trim, draped windows serving ? la carte dinner nightly. Antipasti, soups, pasta, and main-course choices such as duck with orange-honey sauce, steak, chicken, and fish. Reservations required. Dress code: long pants, collared shirts for men. Enid's - Colorful Bajan-style, open-air dinner restaurant serving local foods such as pepper-smoked fish, flying fish-and-cou cou. Reservations required. Dress code: long pants, collared shirts for men.
Boardwalk Bar & Grill - Casual, open-air seafront spot open Noon to 8 PM for tropical drinks. Burgers, hot dogs, chicken, fish served Noon to 2 PM. (Hours subject to change).
Courtyard Cafİ & Barasual open-air seafront spot open afternoons to early evening for tropical drinks, burgers, hot dogs, pizza.
