Sea Aquarium Resort

Opened on December 21st, 2001, Phase I of The Sea Aquarium Resort, consists of 30 two bedroom two bathroom villas. Romantically set on a private island along one of Cura§ao's loveliest beaches, this sparkling new resort caters to your every vacation desire. Build a sandcastle on the beach, take a plunge in the pool, play a lively game of beach volleyball or beach soccer, and then relax in your spacious, light-filled guestroom.

The resort is across from the amazing Sea Aquarium, which features a unique underwater observatory, a diving reef, and animal encounters where you can hand-feed sharks, sea turtles, stingrays, and tropical fish. The aquarium features more than 400 species of fish, corals, sponges, and other creatures on display. Guests receive unlimited complimentary admission to the aquarium (surcharges for some activities). Scheduled social activities may include treasure hunts, arts and crafts, water aerobics, and local history lessons. The Sea Aquarium Resort features a private beach, 3 swimming pools, and an on-site dive shop with complimentary snorkel gear to explore the clear warm waters of the Caribbean. Beach volleyball is also a popular pastime at the resort.

With water visibility of around 150 feet, easy access to wrecks, caves and reefs, over 400 species of fish, sponges, corals and crabs and over 100 dive sites, the island is in the top three internationally rated shore dive spots and in the top five for beginners. The 56 rooms at Sea Aquarium Resort are sectioned off into Hotel Rooms, 1 Bedroom Suites, or 2 Bedroom Villas in 5 two- and three- story buildings and feature modern, high quality, hand-made furnishings.
