Iberostar Costa Dorada contains 9-three story buildings featuring colonial-style decor with subtle Caribbean flair. The resort offers 24-hour All-inclusive service, organized children's activities, kid's club, expansive beach and a huge pool.

Surrounded by padded lounges and offering sunbathing comfort, the large free-form pool contains a round hot tub marked by columns. Adjacent to the pool is a toddlers' pool and sand playground. There is direct access to the beach from the pool area. The beach area is large with sun loungers amongst the palm trees. Very special surroundings indeed!

The resort offers numerous activities with the Star Friends: table tennis, water polo, archery, olympic games, billiards. Watersports center invites you for sailing, catamaran, kayaking, snorkelling, or excursions to the nearby mountains, where you can enjoy fabulous views.

Gardens with fountains supply cooling grace in daytime and romantic strolling under the moonlight. Aside from the bar, the open-air lobby's most popular seating adjoins a flamingo pond, where the graceful birds mesmerize guests.

El Rodizio- An a la carte Brazilian restaurant serving dinner only. Reservations are required. Men are required to wear a dress shirt, long pants (no jeans or Bermuda shorts), and proper footwear.
El Tropical- An a la carte restaurant serving dinner only. Reservations are required. Men are required to wear a dress shirt, long pants (no jeans or Bermuda shorts), and proper footwear.
La Hacienda- An a la carte Mexican restaurant serving dinner only. Reservations are required. Men are required to wear a dress shirt, long pants (no jeans or Bermuda shorts) and proper footwear.

The resort purifies water but recommends drinking complimentary bottled water.

Features 516 double rooms with an original Caribbean design. All rooms have pool or sea views. Guestrooms' spacious balconies or patios face exceptionally lush tropical gardens. Pretty cream-and-blue rooms have every comfort, ensuring your holiday is a magnificent one. Bathrooms contain tub/shower combinations. For a fee, in-room safes protect valuables. Double Rooms offer one king bed or two double beds and accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children.


Iberostar will not, under any circumstances, allow Spring Breakers at their resorts. Therefore, only 2 adults maximum will be allowed in the same room March 1 - April 17. 3 night minimum stay required at this resort. Located 3 miles from Puerto Plata , 13 miles from the airport. Approximate driving time is 20 minutes.
