La Toubana

On the edge of the picturesque fishing village of Sainte- Anne, and adjoining its own private, white sandy beach (a 5-minute walk on a path carved into the cliff side), La Toubana consists of discreet, pastel-coloured buildings nestling among hibiscus and palm-filled tropical gardens.

La Toubana offers spectacular views of the south coast and offshore islands. Many guests come here just for the view but you'll quickly learn that there's far more to this charming place than just a panorama.

Guadeloupe's varied landscape of banana and sugar cane plantations, volcanoes, beaches and tiny fishing villages is easily explored by hire car. Pointe-a-Pitre airport is 12 kilometres and approximately a 20 minute drive away.

32 air-conditioned red-roofed bungalows lie scattered among the tropical shrubs along the adjacent hillsides. There are 20 garden units and 12 more upscale ocean-view units. The bungalows are located in exceptional surroundings: a tropical garden hanging over a cliff. Each bungalow with simple white walls compliment wood and wicker furniture and lively, patterned fabrics opens onto a private terrace with table, chairs an outdoor kitchen. Hilltop bungalows overlooking the Caribbean Sea, leading down to a beach at Sainte Anne and perched of a cliff overlooking the islands of Marie - Galante, Les Sainte and Dominica.
