Ariel Sands Beach Club

Ariel Sands is a luxury beach resort on Bermuda, privately owned by the Dill family whose most famous member is Michael Douglas. Ariel Sands is a great vacation getaway with attentive service, beautiful setting, sandy beaches and tasty cuisine. The resort has two unique naturally fed ocean pools overlooking the water, a heated fresh water pool and an outdoor hot tub overlooking the ocean.

Guests can be pampered at the Day Spa, exercise at the fitness center, snorkel, play tennis and volleyball. Spa services include massage, hydrotherapy, hot-rock massage, facials and beauty treatments. Resort guests can also play golf on one of Bermuda's scenic golf courses.

Bermuda offers great beaches, diving and snorkeling. You can rent mopeds and scooters at the hotel to explore the island.

Dining:

Aqua - Open-air, oceanview restaurant. Lunch features soups such as Bermuda fish chowder; appetizers such as sugar-cured beef carpaccio; main courses such as roasted rockfish. Dinner features appetizers such as Thai-spiced tuna; main courses such as duck breast with pomegranate glaze.
Aqua Bar - Cocktails, tropical drinks, live entertainment (summer).
Brownie's Beach Bar - A little thatch-roof venue set under seagrape tree. Tropical drinks; same lunch menu as Aqua.
The resort offers complimentary afternoon tea daily. On Monday nights there is a complimentary Rum Swizzle party.

46 guest rooms situated in several distinct buildings on 14 acres of lawns and gardens above a pink-sand beach. Colonial-style decor incorporates rattan, rich woods, and pastel color schemes. Terra cotta floors and walls adorned with shells and coral. All rooms have air-conditioning, cable TV, in-room safe, refrigerator, hair dryer, iron and ironing board and a private patio area with ocean views.

Located about two hours by plane from New York City. Ariel Sands can arrange transportation from Bermuda International Airport, about 10 miles from the resort, for an additional fee.
