Resort Information
On the sun-drenched southeastern coast of the increasingly popular Dominican Republic, this extensive, all-inclusive resort faces Bayahibe's stunningly soft white beach and the warm, crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean Sea.
Viva Wyndham Dominicus Beach is set among the beautiful surroundings of the La Romana-Bayahibe area. Guests enjoy a host of attractions from the replica 16th century villages to the National Park of the East, just minutes from the property.
La Romana is a city that was built and maintained by sugar mills. The fishing village of Bayahibe is on a small bay toward the eastern tip of the island of Hispaniola. Its beaches offer a quiet respite from the Dominican Republic's bigger tourist areas. Dive enthusiasts will enjoy the coral reef found in the waters off of Bayahibe's coast.
The resort offers an extensive array of complimentary land and (non-motorized) water sports. In addition, most activities are offered with free, professional group instruction. Take a dance class, start up a game of beach volleyball, or try your hand at archery. The unspoiled mountains surrounding the resort provide thrilling rides for mountain bikers, and fitness enthusiasts can work out with a trainer in the gym or join a water aerobics class. Off-property activities such as fishing, horseback riding, and water skiing are available for an extra charge.
