Beautifully situated on the breathtaking white sandy beaches in the heart of Cancun, The Ambiance Villas and Club is an outstanding getaway for a Mexican holiday. The resort is compromised of several low rise, seperate buildings surrounded by gardens. Overlooking Isla Mujeres, the hotel is just one block away from some of the area's finest shopping outlets, restaurants and nightclubs. Families and couples alike will find peace and quiet in the comfort of spacious apartment-style suites. All suites are equipped with cooking facilities. Casual restaurants, lawns fringed with manicured hedges, a large open-air lobby with sitting areas and game tables are all part of the relaxed ambience of this resort.

A flat beach of powdery white sand furnished with thatch palapas runs 100 yards wide and 75 yards deep along the resort. Because the resort is located on the north, or bay side of Cancun Island, the sea is usually calm, in contrast to swells rolling from the open Caribbean onto the eastern shore. A large pool and sundeck with palm trees for shade offer alternatives to the beach.

The Ambiance Villas and Club offers 24-hour money exchange, a pool, an activities and tour desk, bike rentals and scuba and water sports center. A laundry room is on site and dry cleaning services are also available. The property's fitness center allows active guests to stay in shape while on vacation. The Robert Trent Jones Pok-Ta-Pok Golf Club is located within a three-minute drive. With a large variety of activities - including wind surfing, jet skiing, kayaking, fishing and tours of the area - there is never a dull moment at the Ambiance.

The resort offers 150 studios and suites in five three- and four-story white buildings without elevators. Ground-floor terraces or upper-floor balconies provide views of the sea, Nichupte Lagoon between Cancun Island and the mainland, or the resort's gardens. (Views cannot be guaranteed.) Contemporary decor features white walls and ceilings, slate-colored tile floors, Cable TV, light colored furniture, glass-and-rattan dining sets, cream-colored drapes, and bright orange bedspreads.
