PuntaCana Resort & Club is part of a 15,000-acre development that includes an ecological reserve, located on a 3-mile white sand beach surrounded by tropical gardens. This fabulous resort is partly owned by designer Oscar De La Renta and singer Julio Iglesias and features an 18-hole championship golf course designed by P. B. Dye.
This resort is not All-Inclusive but breakfast, dinner, taxes, and gratuities are included in the room price.

Dining:
La Cana- Tall white columns, vaulted ceilings, large plantation-style windows and a breezy atmosphere distinguish La Cana, the hotel's main restaurant. Large buffets featuring international cuisine are available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
La Choza- Grilled entrees, sandwiches, organic salads, and Dominican desserts are featured at this casual beachside grill, open daily from noon until late afternoon. On Saturdays, "Dominican Night" offers lively music and limbo contests.
El Coccoloba- This gourmet restaurant located in the beachfront clubhouse overlooks the ocean and offers Caribbean nouvelle cuisine, featuring specialties such as savory goat loin served with porcini mushroom sauce and gratin potatoes.
Anani- Live piano music is the hallmark of this restaurant with vaulted ceilings and a balcony overlooking the property. The menu features nouvelle Dominican and international cuisine, and is open nightly for dinner. Reservations required.
Mamma Venezia- The decor of this Italian restaurant, located upstairs from the hotel's main lobby, is modeled after the traditional Dominican country houses in nearby La Otra Banda. Diners are serenaded by a guitar trio, and reservations are required. Open for dinner only.
Franco's Pizzeria- This brick-oven pizza and sandwich venue adjacent to the resort pool is reputed to be Julio Iglesias' children's favorite spot for French fries. Open daily from midday until evening.
La Yola- This nautically themed marina venue with glass-bottom floor panels and an open bow into the harbor is the hotel's signature seafood restaurant and bar, and specializes in Mediterranean-Caribbean cuisine. Not included in the resort's meal plan, the restaurant is accessible by shuttle from the hotel.
The Grill- Located in the golf clubhouse near the beach and swimming pool, this restaurant offers lighter fare such as sandwiches and salads, and overlooks the rolling dunes of the golf course.
Honeymooners receive the following:
-Fruit basket in room upon arrival
-Upgrade to superior accommodation (subject to availability)
-Romantic candle dinner for 2. Reservation to be made on property
-Late check-out free until 4:00 p.m. (subject to availability)
Honeymooners must present marriage certificate upon check-in, maximum one month after marriage date.
Room Information
400 guestrooms surrounded by 105 acres of lush gardens. Each room features tropical decor with mahogany and wicker furnishings, coffee maker, mini bar, hair dryer, cable TV, air conditioning and safety deposit box.
