Caribe Playa Beach Resort features a music room, library, barbecue area, freestyle outdoor pool, a kiddy pool for the little ones and a whirlpool. Boat rides for fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, and sightseeing tripsare available for a fee, with prior reservations. Or, you may prefer to relax right on the beach or to lounge on the new sundeck, beachfront! There are plenty of new lounge chairs and hammocks throughout. The resort provides complimentary large towels throughout your stay...simply sign them out at the front desk.

The Caribe Playa Beach Resort is strategically hidden in a quiet cove off the coastline in the serene southeast corner of Puerto Rico, close to nature, historical, cultural and shopping areas. The resort offers the services of a licensed therapist (on call) with your choice of 10 different professional massages...beachfront, poolside or in your room. Prices range from $30 for 30 minutes to a full body massage for 1 hour at $50. See the front desk for reservations.

32 beachfront, oversized rooms with patio and balcony view. Each room is equipped with refrigerator, coffee maker, cable TV, air-conditioning with ceiling fan and internet access. Maid service is available for a fee and there are seven-night minimum stay requirements.

Driving Directions from San Juan:

*Follow Route #26 WEST to San Juan when leaving airport, cross bridge (you will see a sign for Route 22) and keep to the right, pass under the tunnel, and follow Route 18 until it turns into Route 52.
*Follow Route 52 and exit to Route 53/Guayama (on left).
*Pay toll of $.25. At the first traffic light, Road 53 will become Road 54.
*Continue on Road 54 until it ends (7 traffic lights), turn right on Route 3 East.
*Continue on Route 3, pass 2 traffic lights and turn right onto Route 53 (you will see a sign for Maunabo #53).
*Continue on Route 53, turn right at first traffic light
Continue straight for 15 minutes and resort is on the right (KM 112.1).
