Non-motorized water sports equipment is available for rental including kayaks, windsurfing, pedal boats, boogie boards and motorized water sports plus snorkeling, scuba diving and fishing expeditions available with surcharge. Although nearby golf courses attract some guests, this resort also serves families. Children have their own pool and supervised activities. Adults enjoy low-key activities such as water aerobics and Spanish lessons.
Containing a 15-by-15-foot spa section and swim-up bar, a huge, free-form main pool includes a sea-facing infinity edge spilling into a long, narrow pool that's perfect for lap swimming. Luxurious wood lounges supply thick, comfortable pads. Between pools and beach, a spacious sundeck includes thatched-roof palapas with hammocks. Palapas also grace a flat stretch of beach leading to gentle dunes near the water, which is not safe for swimming due to strong ocean currents.
