Resort Information
Set in 5 acres of terraced gardens, the
Surf Side Beach Club is a romantic Bermuda hideaway boasting magnificent ocean views. The guest accommodations cascade down towards the azure waters. The heart of the complex, the outdoor pool, with its spacious sundeck, lies at about 90 feet above sea level. Pathways and stairs, bordered by flowerbeds, hibiscus and oleander, lead to the guestrooms 65 feet above sea level and onwards to the private beach. A pathway, lined with hibiscus and oleander, meanders through the property and leads guests down to the hotel's small private beach. Despite its moderate size, Surf Side Beach Club has its own hair and beauty salon. The hotel also boasts a Jacuzzi and sauna.
Guests can join the trail here and take a pleasant stroll to the nature reserve at Warwick Pond. The recently redesigned Belmont Hills Golf Club is just a short taxi ride from the property and the tennis courts at the Elbow Beach hotel are just down the road.
There is a convenient bus stop at the entrance to the hotel. Here guests can easily access Hamilton, the Royal Naval Dockyard, the public beaches at South Shore Park and Astwood Cove.
This beach club occupies a steeply sloping hillside that descends through gardens to a crescent-shaped sweep of private beachfront. (The steps down to the beach may be hard for mobility-impaired guests to manage.) A varied array of flowering trees and panoramic walkways dots the terraced property. From lookout points in the garden, visitors can see grouper and other fish swimming among the distant rocks of the shallow sea.
