This small, romantic resort is located along the light-golden sands of Reduit Beach, washed by the Caribbean Sea; Castries, the colorful capital, and lovely Marigot Bay are nearby. An expansive lagoon pool with round swim-up bar and marble sundeck, a spa with hydrotherapy treatments and plunge pool, and open-air gourmet dining are among the enticements of this resort.A breezy, marble-floor lobby contains a peaked bleached-wood ceiling, burbling fountain, and plush royal-purple seating. The surrounding marble sundeck features padded lounge chairs and pink umbrellas and includes a wood-plank section with dining tables and hammock shaded by palms. The sea laps a half-mile of light-colored beach furnished with thatch shades.

This resort's guests enjoy access to facilities and restaurant signing privileges at two companion properties sharing Reduit Beach. The Rex St. Lucian (adjacent) includes a beauty salon in a small shopping plaza. The Rex Papillion St. Lucia farther along the beach includes a kids' club where Royal St. Lucian guests can leave children for day/night sessions without charge.

The resort offers Water sports rentals are available on the beach and include Sunfish sailboats, snorkeling gear, kayaks, pedal boats, and windsurfers. In addition, beach vendors offer scuba diving, water skiing, Jet Skiing, banana-boat rides, wakeboarding, kneeboarding, and tubing (surcharges). Play on two is complimentary. A surcharge is assessed for night play.

Chic - Intimate air-conditioned dining room. Complimentary champagne served, orders taken in lounge before seating. Dress code: long pants, collared shirts for men.
L'Epicure - Open-air, linen-service dining room. Beachfront terrace seating, also. Buffet breakfast. À la carte dinner menu.
La Mirage - Round swim-up bar in pool. Tropical drinks. Sandwiches, salads, burgers, steak, fish, and appetizers from late-morning until sunset.
Le Mistral - Spacious open-air lounge with live music, dancing nightly.

Spacious suites include raised bedrooms, Italian ceramic-tile floors, and massage showers with vertical and horizontal showerheads. Large patios or balconies face the gardens or sea. 96 extra-spacious suites in four sand-colored buildings of 2-3 stories without elevators. Suites feature large patios or balconies and raised, carpeted bedrooms that can be made private by closing louvered shutters and sheer curtains. Decor includes hallway and sitting-area floors of gleaming Italian ceramic tile; pink walls with white-wood baseboards, crown molding, and trim; and pale rattan furniture with thick cushions. Oversize bathrooms offer separate vanity sinks, shower/tub combinations, and separate stall "massage" showers with vertical and horizontal showerheads.
