St. Lucian by Rex Resorts

The resort lies at the beginning of a mile-long stretch of restaurants and nightclubs that serves as St. Lucia's principal nightlife center.

A 75-by-25-foot pool and raised 16-person spa tub provide alternatives to the Caribbean Sea, which laps a half-mile of light-colored sand running in front of the resort. All Inclusive Plan guests have complimentary use of Sunfish sailboats, snorkeling gear, kayaks, pedal boats, and windsurfers without additional charge; European Plan guests must pay surcharges. In addition, beach vendors offer scuba diving, water skiing, Jet Skiing, banana-boat rides, wakeboarding, kneeboarding, and tubing (surcharges for all guests). Play on two tennis courts is complimentary. A surcharge is assessed for night tennis.

This resort's guests enjoy access to adjacent companion properties sharing Reduit Beach. The Royal St. Lucian includes a health spa. (Its pool is reserved exclusively for that resort's guests.) The Rex Papillion St. Lucia includes a kids' club where Rex St. Lucian guests can leave children for day/night sessions without charge. Rex Papillion buffets are available to Rex St. Lucian guests, also.

With reservations, Rex St. Lucian guests on the All Inclusive Plan are entitled to dine without additional charge at breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets served at Rex Papillion, a companion resort next door. 120 guestrooms in two- and three-story buildings without elevators arrayed along the beach. Patios or balconies include two-chair dining sets. Decor features pastel-turquoise walls, white tile floors, rattan furniture, and floral drapes. In-room safes are available for a daily surcharge.
