Papillon St. Lucia by Rex Resorts

The Rex Papillon resort is located along the light-golden sands of Reduit Beach, washed by the warm Caribbean Sea; Rodney Bay dining and nightlife are adjacent.Check-in takes place in an open-air lobby at an adjacent companion resort, Rex St. Lucian, with which Rex Papillion shares facilities. The resort lies at the beginning of a mile-long stretch of restaurants and nightclubs that serves as St. Lucia's principal nightlife center.

The Rex Papillion features a medium-size butterfly-shape pool that includes two shallow sections for children. The surrounding sundeck features an elevated 12-person spa tub. In addition to the half-mile of light-colored sand running in front of the resort, a lawn terrace above the beach is furnished with lounge chairs for sunbathing opportunities.

This resort's guests enjoy access to companion properties sharing Reduit Beach. The Royal St. Lucian includes a health spa. (Its pool is reserved exclusively for that resort's guests.) The adjacent Rex St. Lucian includes a beauty salon in a small shopping plaza. Rex St. Lucian buffets are available to Rex Papillion guests, also.

Clipper Bar & Grill - Casual beachfront spot under conical wood roof serving lunch of burgers, sandwiches, desserts and afternoon tea. Live band nightly in adjacent gazebo.
Diadem Lounge - Open-air cocktail spot.
Tropigala - Second-floor bar with covered, sea-view deck.
With reservations, Rex Papillion guests are entitled to dine without additional charge at breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets served at Rex St. Lucian, a companion resort next door. Dining in Rex St. Lucian's à la carte restaurants is available to Rex Papillion guests for supplemental charges.

140 guestrooms in two- and three-story yellow buildings without elevators arrayed along the beach. Decor features pastel-turquoise walls, white tile floors, rattan furniture, and floral drapes. In-room safes are available for a daily surcharge.
