The Gran Bahia Principe Akumal is fronted by a beach of white sand and in some sections, of rock. It lies between a green mangrove jungle and the turquoise water of the Caribbean. It welcomes families, couples, and singles.
Beach and poolside sundecks blend into one another, providing a large area for sunbathing on lounge chairs or napping on hammocks beneath thatch-roof palapas.
