Karibea Amandiers Resort

The Karibea Amandiers Resort is a modern complex linking three hotels,Amandiers, Amyris and Caribia, and is bordered by two white sand beaches. It is located three kilometres from the market town of Sainte Luce on the Caribbean island of Martinique.

Guests can enjoy a refreshing dip in any of three fresh-water swimming pools, including a paddling pool for kids, or head down to the beach for swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing. Leisure options include a petanque court, 2 lighted tennis, table tennis and a games area for children. Evening entertainment at the hotel features folk ballet, karaoke, magic shows and dance, depending on the season.

Nearby activities, such as deep-sea diving, windsurfing and pony trekking, can be organized by hotel staff. There is a golf course and casino just 15 kilometres away or guests can enjoy walks in the Montravail forest, five kilometres from the centre of Sainte Luce, where there are rocks decorated with centuries-old Indian engravings. Lamentin-Fort de France airport is half an hour's drive, 25 kilometres (16 miles) from the hotel.

The Yole - Set next to the Amandiers swimming pool, Creole-inspired contemporary cuisine buffet style or a la carte. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Pélican - Looking out on to the Amyris swimming pool, ocean and garden. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Iles - Opened to the Caribia swimming pool, it welcomes clients for breakfast only (may be closed in low season).

Bars

Baril du Rhum - Situated by the Amandiers swimming pool. Open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The Pelican - Situated at the enterance of the Pelican restaurant. Open 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

If you are traveling during the Christmans and/or New Year holidays, you may purchase the following upon arrival:
Christmas - Traditional Christmas menu with wine and 1 glass of champagne and musical entertainment at the cost of $68.00 per person. Children 2 to 11 $34.00 per person.
New Year's Eve - New Year gala menu with wine and 1/2 bottle of champagne, band and party novelties at the cost of $110.00 per person. Children 2 to 11 $55.00 per person.

Amandiers - 116 units harmoniously decorated with a balcony in the standard rooms or a large terrace in the superior rooms. Each room has a refrigerator, in-room safe, televison, and hair dryer.

Amyris - 108 Junior suites, 45 of which have a fully equipped kitchenette are beautifully decorated with rattan and ceruse wood furniture, refrigerator, in-room safe, televison, and hair dryer. There are also 2 bathrooms and a living area.

Caribia - 75-1 bedroom apartments with large terraces, 1 bathroom, fully equipped kitchenette, sofa sleeper, in-room safe, televison, and hair dryer.

Visitor Tax of $.76 per person per night will be charged by resort. Martinique Le Lamentin Airport (FDF) is located 20 miles away. Approximate driving time is 25 minutes. Metered taxi stands are located at the airport and at major hotels. There are also car rental firms at the airport. Public buses are inexpensive, and much public transport is by collective taxis, 8-passenger limousines bearing the sign TC.
