Question: Aruba vs Antigua?

Hello everyone, this is my first post on the site. I am looking to book a trip with my girlfriend. We are both 25 years old and we were looking to book a vacation to either Aruba or Antigua. What are the main differences between the two islands? Is it significantly more expensive to go to one or the other? Any guidance that you can gvie would be great. Thanks everyone!

Answer#1: Considering that your 25, I would think that you would want to hang out and have a good time. Aruba is very nice, but it is also very commercialized, meaning it's a bit expensive. In Antigua you would have a really great time. Carnival is coming up soon, the last week of July to the first Monday in August, and it's their 50th year. I really think that you would enjoy Antigua and you can visit the neighboring island of Barbuda with their pink sandy beaches. Antigua is the place to be for pure entertainment.

Answer#2: My husband and I are 28 and we LOVE Aruba. Haven't been to Antigua, but been other places in the Carribean. Aruba was the best!!!!!! Despite what you have heard about Aruba..the people were extremely friendly. We loved it so much we will be going back in May...Try the Marriott on Palm Beach. If you don't like the Marriott...you must stay on Palm Beach it's the best beach on the island...

Answer#4: Hi i'm from the Caribbean they are two beautiful country with lot to do and see but it dependson what you are looking for if u want peace and quiet i will choose Aruba and if u want to go some where to go an have from and lime all day all night Antigua is the place so its up to you........(but NEVIS is a nice place to and its very private and beautiful look it up and think about it)
