Answer#1: Either one is great for a honeymoon. But do
yourself a favor and DON"T do all-inclusive
on these islands. You will miss the great flavors
of the islands. Liquor is very cheap and you can
always buy some liquor and make your own
cocktails. If your big drinkers. Most people
do.It's your honeymoon and romantic dinners are a
must. I can't imagine a romantic dinner on a
buffet line. The restaurants are wonderful on both
island. If you choose St Thomas, make sure you
take a day to explore St John. It will be a
memorable day. The island is awesome. Trunk Bay
beach is a must do.Congratulations and good luck.
Enjoy.)
Answer#2: Have been to both and would definitely recommend
St. Thomas. They have more activities and
nightlife than Aruba, plus you can visit some of
the other virgin isles. Personally I'm not an AI
fan because I think it discourages people from
seeing the islands and spending money in the
community, but you have to look at what you plan
to do while there. If you think you'll be eating 3
meals a day, and just lying by the pool or
drinking not leaving the resort area too much then
the AI might be a better option for you. If you
intend to check out some of the local restaurants
and nightlife, doing some shopping and
sightseeing, and visiting the other islands I
would say avoid the AI.
Answer#3: st.Thomas nice and beautiful island
Answer#4: St Thomas has more to do. You can also visit St.
John by ferry boat, and they have a great resort
for honeymooners, the best on the island, it's
called Frenchman's Reef Marriott and Morning Star
Beach Resort (they are all one and the same, and
you can go to both, which ever one you stay at).
Stay in the tower, up on the cliff, with a harbor
view. I just got back, it was perfect. A bit
expensive, but the perfect place for a honeymoon.
Absolutely beautiful resort. Check out Trip
Advisor.com or Expedia.com for pictures of hotel.
Beautiful pools and beaches, on a penisula
surrounded on three sides by the beautiful
Carribean blue water, with a water taxi to town.
It's great! Perfect weather year round. You
cannot do better in St. Thomas. It also has the
advantage of being a US Territory, unlike Aruba.
Mountains are beautiful, and the beaches at St.
John are rated in the Top Five most beautiful in
the world. Well worth it. Do NOT take a cruise
boat, save that for later. A honeymoon deserves a
resort, not a cruise ship.
Answer#5: I would recommend Aruba... nice and not a lot of
traffic compared to St. Thomas (cruise ship
shoppers).. definitely all inclusive is the way to
go .. when my husband and I went, we saved a lot
of money. compared to my parents that chose the
European plan ( no meals).
