Answer#1: Here are two sites that allow you to see the
options that are available, http://www.mindlogic.com/SIM_CTRY_aruba_DTL.shtm
lIf you have a Nextel & Sprint or Verizon
sorry your phone will not work, {you will have to
go through a very tedious process}, however if you
have a Cingular or TMobile, Yes.For user's who
fall on Virgin mobile, they don't operate like that
out of the US,same is for Booss Mobile which are
both link to Sprint and Nextel, which is CDMA based
techno, and even if it dose it's gonna cost you.GSM
is a phone which has tri bands made possible by
use of a sim card or Micrp~chip at back of
Phone,which Aruba is based on_[Mostly].Just
remember that international roaming rates apply. So
go to your provider whether Cingular or TMobile
for charge's.
Answer#2: I don't think so. Although I have T-Mobile, and I
couldn't get anything. You can rent cell phones
at the airport. That's what I'm planning to do.
And I walked on the beach by myself and I was
fine. You just have to be aware of your
surroundings, like anywhere.
Answer#3: I don't really know, I'm sure you can. Just don't
walk on the beach by yourself. And I'm really not
joking about that.
