Question: Can the ABC island be hit by a hurricane (Aruba/Bonaire/Curacao)?

Answer#1: Yes, but chances are much lower than for other Islands. If you want to avoid Hurricane problem schedule your travel for ABC islands in Jan-Dec .


Answer#2: Yes they can.The ABC islands are outside of the usual hurricane belt, but this does not mean they will not get hit. There have been a few close calls this year, and in 2004, ivan also came by pretty close. However the last time these islands got a direct hit was over 100 years ago.Remember, it is possible for them to get hit. Just a smaller chance then the Northern Caribbean islands.
