Question: What don't you get about Turks Caicos?? Canadians??
Question Description:
Come on get with it!! Turks Caicos belongs to
Britian!! Not Canada, besides, I am here right
now, and this island isn't really anthing great to
write home about. The beaches are beautiful, but
hey, the people are not the friendliest. They
walk with a slouch and their feet slop around like
they are really doing you a favor like serving
your food really puts them out, very rude people.
Unless they are from the states or canada or
elsewhere..........the locals just don't have
people skills. Im staying at the Ocean Club and
they do not go out of their way to help. I say go
to Aruba, they are so friendly and help in any way
they can. I really think Turks is beautiful, but
face it......if the locals can't have people
skills then forget it. Driving is difficult unless
you are use to driving on the left. Food is twice
as much as other islands, including Aruba, sorry i
do favor Aruba, my experience was
fabulous..Imported food is extremely expensive.
Very expensive here in Turks.I did speak with
locals on the island of Turks and Caicos, the
political question of weather or not Turks should
be a canadian providence is bandied about and
talked of much, this is NOT my opinion, true fact.
Like I said, Turks is exquistatly beautiful, yet
people skills are lacking and if you want the
night life, its not there just rest and
relaxation........I never realized how friendly
the people in the good old United States truely
are!!

Answer#1: Noone said it belongs to Canada. This is your
opinion on Turks & Caicos but I had rude
service and unfriendly people and saw crime in
Aruba, I saw no way to Aruba but's just that's
just my opinion.
Answer#2: Sometimes some countries advertise how beautiful
their island is and how friendly the people are
but in fact until you really experience it for
yourself you don't really know. I have found that
a lot of places that don't get the amount of
exposure as the much publicised destinations, have
much more to offer. I plan on visiting Aruba in
2007 even though I could have gone somewhere else,
but I have friends that have visited Aruba and
they say the place is to die for and the people
are real friendly.
Answer#3: I totally agree
