Question: Honeymoon to St. Lucia, Antigua, or Bermuda?
Question Description:
Right now, my top rank is Bermuda... but I'd like
to hear from someone that's been to the resort
that we're thinking of... the Mandarin Oriental -
Elbow Beach, Bermuda.Does anyone know if there's a
bar at the pool at this resort?? It doesn't look
like it in the pictures...Our 2nd/ 3rd pick would
be the Sandals resort at St. Lucia or
Antigua. Please let me know of your
experience/suggestions.We're looking for a
relaxing honeymoon... We want to do an activity or
two, but mostly just relaxing at the pool/beach,
nice dinners and spa treatments.Thanks!

Answer#1: Have been to St. Lucia but have not stayed at
sandals. St Lucia is a beautiful and lush island
with lots to do and see and friendly locals and
excellent nightlife. The beaches are nice and
there are plenty of secluded beaches. From St.
Lucia you can also take day trips to Martinique
and St. Vincent. I would suggest you check
tripadvisor.com forums and also the hotel reviews
to get more detailed info on each location and
pics of the resorts.
Answer#2: Unfortunately, I cannot help as I've never been to
those places myself. But I'll help with as much
info. as possible:Bermuda: I think it's not as
warm as other islands below the equator. Someone
I know has visited Bermuda, and I have seen the
pictures, absolutely beautiful. But I have heard
that if going in the winter time or something,
it's not warm as Barbados, etc.. http://www.bermudatourism.com/ - it even has
information on weddings/honeymoons. :)St. Lucia:
My boyfriend has been there on a family trip. It's
an island where you can see some hills/mountains.
But unfortunately, not much to do as Barbados.
There's Sandals, all-inclusive. http://www.stlucia.org/ - Feel free to check it
outAntigua: I met a girl in Barbados airport
that's from there and she told me about her
island! So many beaches. You can take a ferry to
its sister island, Barbuda! http://www.antigua-barbuda.org/Hope this
helps.And enjoy your honeymoon!
Answer#3: i can only give you information about antigua as i
live there.Antigua is a place if you want a
relaxing holiday you can get it,most of the hotels
or if not all them have bar &
restaurants,pools,etc.there is always something to
do,if you get bored in the hotel you can find a
local bar& restaurant or night club.the people
are very friendly so do not be scared to ask for
direction thats why we are here.
