Question: Has anyone ever been to the Cayman Islands or Bermuda?

Question Description:
We are trying to go to one or the other for a honeymoon, so I wanted to get some opinions on where to go, pricing, and etc.

Answer#1: For the money you would spend on either one, go on a cruise. Everything is included: food, transportation, accomodation, entertainment. These things are a great value. Both destinations are served by cruise ships. But Cayman gets more companies competing so the price is more competitive. Plus, you would see more than just one island.Seriously, you can do very well with a cruise. Just stay off of the Carnival cruise line unless you like long lines and children.www.cruisedeals.comwww.vacationstogo.comw ww.orbitz.comwww.expedia.comwww.ncl.comwww.holland america.comwww.royalcarribbean.comwww.celebrity.co mwww.princess.com

Answer#2: I've been to both. They are both excellent, but neither are good in September, during hurricane season. They are both very expensive, but not like London or Oslo. Places to see: everywhere. Both are small enough to see everything in a week. You'll definitely want to rent scooters in either place. You can also share one scooter. Beware, I saw a few people's holidays ruined by scooter wipeouts. And you have to drive on the left in both places, so it take a bit of getting used to.Bermuda gets cooler in the winter, but still comfortable. Personally, I preferred Bermuda. There were no mosquitos or annoying insects in Bermuda because there is no standing water on the island. If you like to swim in crystal clear water, then Cayman is better. The water is warmer than in Bermuda by quite a bit, also. The best hotels in Cayman are on the 7-mile beach. The Radisson was very popular when I was there. Holiday Inn is further down the road and not quite as easy for traveling back and forth into the city. That's all I can remember.

Answer#3: Well... I have been to the Cayman's. Grand Cayman's to be exact, very beautiful place and lots to do.. I enjoyed the beaches there especially. However I can't really help you with pricing because I was on a cruise that stopped there, go though if you get a chance.
