Question: Where should I vacation in the Caribbean?

Question Description:
I want to plan a trip for my girlfriend and I to the Caribbean or somewhere with tropical beaches. Such a difficult choice between Negril, Monego Bay, Bahamas, Bermuda, Aruba, Barbados, Puerto Rico, etc.Anyone been to two or more of these places that can make a suggestion to help out? Thanks in advance.

Answer#1: Definitly Negril and Montego Bay, both are really fun and relaxin

Answer#2: I've traveled a lot throughout the Caribbean, most places more than one or two times. My personal favorite is Costa Rica. The water is beautiful, the people are very friendly and the food is fantastic. It is also a great spot for night life. I've always felt safe there also, and in some of these islands you do not. Look into some sites and see what you guys think. Have fun!

Answer#3: Barbados or Montego Bay! Stay at a resort in Mobay or Ocho Rios and you might not want to leave.

Answer#4: Puerto Rico!!Beautiful beaches and scenery, awesome night clubs, great dining places. You can go horseback riding, hiking, camping, scuba diving, sky diving, cave adventures, sight seeing... you name it, Puerto Rico has it.It is an island full of culture, history, and very enjoyable people.True facts:1. Flamenco beach in Culebra is considered by the Travel Channel the 3rd most beautiful beach in the world, following 2 in Hawaii.2. The Miss Universe pageant was celebrated in PR for two consecutive years because they loved the island.3. Major sports events are celebrated in the island, like the first round of the World Baseball Classic, Basketball Pre-Olympics, etc.Don't miss out!Visit

Answer#5: ARUBA!!!!!!

Answer#6: I've been to Barbados 30 times since 1998 (I'm 28). I love it there & going back in another week and a half. There are plenty of beaches, rent an apartment (there are hotels too, but if you would rather feel more at home, spend less money, have a set of groceries in the fridge for the morning...then get an apt). Peddling is not a problem in Barbados, and the crime rate is much lower than Jamaica. Barbados does not have private beaches like Jamaica, but that shouldn't deter you, as you can feel safe walking from beach to beach at your leisure. Barbados also has a nice nightlife and no matter what time of the year I go, I always find something to do. Aruba is pretty, though I find it's mostly beach. Bahamas is ok, depending on which island you go to. My preference is the Southern Caribbean rather than a quick hop to places much like home (I live in South Florida, so Bahamas, J'ca & Puerto Rico is like being here). Bermuda is a bit off the map as far as the Caribbean goes (and very expensive). Try Barbados, St. Lucia and St. Vincent as destinations;)

Answer#7: My husband and I have been to Aruba 12 times in 10 years. Obviously we love it.We love Aruba for it's beautiful white sand beaches with calm waters, little or no rain so it is not lush or tropical. The beaches make up for it.Other reasons include the fact that my husband and I we feel safe on the island, especially at night. Yes, we take the same precautions as we do at home. Walk in well lit areas at night, leave valuables at home or at least in the safe in our room and while in the car, valuables are kept in the trunk out of sight. The other thing we love are the island's restaurants. There is something for everyone in every price range. Lots of gourmet, lots of fast food and plenty of choices in between that will not blow the budget.Unless you are big drinkers, this is one island where you do not have to go "all inclusive". If you do, you miss a lot of that Aruban hospitality found outside of the resorts. The island also offers plenty of 3 & 4 star hotels to choose from, every watersport imaginable, an 18 hole Robert Trent Jones Jr. Championship Golf course, shopping and casinos. Barbados is also beautiful, as well as Bermuda. After having been rained out in San Juan and Ocho Rios, I've never been interested in going anywhere other than Aruba. Why pay 1000's of dollars and then worry about a rainy vacation?

Answer#8: In Puerto Rico is the best
