Answer#2: There are a few different things that they are
known for. I think the biggest thing is the Seven
Mile Beach. Nothing spectacular, just a big beach.
I think you might have to pay a small fee per day
to go there, though. There are several hotels that
are right on the beach, too, and I think they have
private access to their portions of the beach. I
think the Cayman Islands were also known for
pirates, so you might be able to find some
historical, fun stuff about that. They have a
butterfly farm with different gardens, ponds,
waterfalls, and flowers. Also a turtle farm where
they breed and raise different kinds of turtles.
There's also an underwater observatory of a
shipwreck that has become part of the surrounding
reef. You should also see some pretty cool fish
too. You might want to check into Glassbottom
boats, too, as a way to see the fish and coral
reefs. There's always snorkeling, too. This is
really cool to be able to get close to the fish.
Sometimes there will be companies who offer tours
for this and the reefs (they're supposed to be
really colorful there). There is a town nearby
called Hell that a lot of people like to go to. In
addition to it being called Hell, there are
supposed to be some cool rock formations. Right at
the pier, there are a bunch of stores for shopping
in too. There are jewelry stores, souvenir shops,
liquor stores, collector's items, clothing stores,
and a bunch more things that you could spend hours
walking through if you wanted to. There are also a
couple fun restaurants over in that area.I'm sure
this is just a sampling of many different things
to do. I've never been a big fan of Georgetown,
but it's the caribbean, and you can never beat
that!
