http://www.hostelhostels.com/

Answer#2: PUNTA CANA is the best choice you made.!! There are some indians caves on the way to San Pedro de Macoris, Also very visited is Casa de Campo, Carnival cruise line have tours to this place. In Santo Domingo you can see the Alcazar of Colon. His house., the first cathedral, the Basilica of Higuey, this one most visited by tourist, there you can take picture of the La Altagracia Virgin. The church is antique and it is considered the biggest architecture design of its time. A lot of beautiful beaches. If you go to buy souvenirs, always offer to pay the half of the price and discuss the price. There is also the GAGA which is an old parade that comes from inmigrants of the english islands, very colorfull and good to film a video about. This is in San Pedro de Macoris, city where most of the baseball players like Samy Sosa comes from. By the way the exchange rate is 33.75 for one dollar. Don't forget to taste the mofongo, and ask for a piece of sugar cane, there are tours in the hotels, just ask and they will advise you. Dont' forget to take your camera. Enjoy!!
