Question: Which part of the Dominican Republic has the most life..?

for example best place for choice of shopping,
restaurants, bars, clubs????

Answer#1: Santo Domingo is great for all that..but keep in
mind there are no beaches there. If you want to
stay in a resort area that has a mix of all that,
I would look into Bavaro or Casa de Campo on the
east coast.
Answer#2: Santo Domingo would have the most choice in
restaurants, bars, hotels, etc.. The too most
vibrant areas is the Malecon (Avenida George
Washington), which faces the ocean and where many
of the city's hotels and casinos are located and
the Colonial Zone (Zona Colonial) where during the
day many restaurants, cafes and stores are open
for shopping.
Answer#3: Gotta be the caiptal. Santo Domingo beats all
other areas for nightlife and shopping.
