Answer#1: if ur thinking of visiting i think you should
definitely come and expirience it for yourself.we
are no poorer than many other caribbean islands.
although we may not be wealthy, we are richer than
alot of the other islands, just have a look at
our lovely natural recources. we are not
underdeveloped, just not as developed as alot of
our sister islands. we have lovely people, both
men and weomen, and alot more than just steep
waterfalls.so come see for yourself if you are
looking for natural beauty and more :)
Answer#2: There is a major misconception that Dominica is
poor. Having been on a cruise myself and visiting
Dominica my opinion is that the island is not poor
at all. The cruise officials tell the people the
night before the island is poor to everyone just
takes that in. I beg to differ. I think the island
of Dominica needs to be marketed more. It is one
of those places that tourists would love because
it is not crowded like so many islands.
Answer#3: Well, it's poor, but it's fun, it really depends
where you go. I love the men there, though.
Answer#4: Went to Dominica a few years ago as part of a
cruise. They had a nice steep waterfall, not much
else. The country is extremely poor.
