Question: What to do in St. Lucia, with little money?
Question Description:
I'm going on a limited budget, need fun things to
do outside all-inclusive hotel. Also best place(s)
there to by cheap souviners.I am going in January,
for a delayed honeymoon. Also, how's Coconut bay
resort and spa? Any help on anything would be much
appreciated!!! Thanks.

Answer#1: Been there. There is NOTHING worthwhile in St.
Lucia besides the beach and the Jazz festival,
which isn't in January. Castries is a pit. It's
difficult to fly to. Why did you pick that
place?Change your plans. Go on a cruise. Costs the
same and everything is included plus entertainment
every night.
Answer#2: I wouldn't go to Coconut Bay, its on rough waters
and the reviews haven't been that great. Try
somewhere else on the island. Go to "Trip
Advisor" and check out all of the reviews.
You can read about every hotel, bed and breakfast,
etc. on the island and you can see pictures of the
resorts that other people took. Good Luck...I
wish I was going.
Answer#3: Take a tour and negotiate the deal. A drive in to
thevolcano is worth the few dollars - we think.
Buy your soveniers from the locals on the road
side. But please do not try to cheat them - they
need the money.
