Question: Turks and Caicos Airport?
Question Description:
I was searching a flight from CLT to PLS, and the
arival gate at PLS said "****".Was the
gate info not avaliable, or does the airport there
have no gates at all?

Answer#1: The airport at Providenciales is a tiny little
place. A door to the left gives access to
domestic flights (to other islands) and a door to
the right provides access to international
flights. There are no gates as such -- merely a
corridor through which one passes to gain access
to the international departure lounge, which is
simply a large room. Flights are not signposted:
you just listen out for your flight being called
and join the crowd getting on. Gate???? The
picture on this link does a great job in making a
small airport look bigger! http://www.paradise.tc/airline1.html
Answer#2: Here is a website with information for you to
view. The arrival area is not that large.
Depending what time you arrive and other arrivals
will determine what gate is available. It's not a
large airport like Miami, New York, Chicago and
Atlanta. It's an island airport. http://www.provoairport.com Have a great trip)
