Question #31: Caribbean vacation?
I am looking for some recommendations on places to
vacation in the Caribbean. I know there are a ton
of islands to choose from but I would like some
recommendations from people that have been there.
I am looking for the following:1. Nice beaches
that aren't too crowded (will be going in June of
this year)2. A place that offers other activities
besides hanging out at the beach. (i.e. hiking,
biking, cultural activities)3. Something that is
geared more towards couples.I have looked at
Aruba, St. Lucia and Barbados. Aruba seems a
little too 'resort' oriented but the beaches look
really nice along with the turquoise water. I am
also pondering Belize and wonder if anyone has
been there. If you have any hotel recommendations
that would be appreciated too. I am thinking
about All-Inclusive but have heard some bad things
about that. I like the fact that the drinks are
included but I don't like the fact that we would
be limited to eating at specific places. Thanks!
Answer: For all of the above - visit Antigua - 365 lovely
beaches, the Sandals resort is awesome. Warm,
friendly, accommodating people. Great day and
nighttime activities.You won't regret it!!Check it
out for yourself http://www.antiguanice.com/

Question #32: What are the differences between Aruba and Antigua?
Can anyone please let me know the main differences
between these two islands. I am 25 and booking a
vacation in Sept with my girlfriend and we have
narrowed it down to these two islands, thanks in
advance!
Answer: I will try to describe the differences in the 2
islands.Aruba is a desert like island. It hardly
rains here and very seldom is this island effected
by hurricanes. The resorts and good beaches are
basically on one side of the island. You have
constant trade winds. All the divi trees are bend
to one side due to this. The island is 8 miles
long. It's a dutch island and the people are very
friendly and nice. Antigua boasts 365 beaches, one
for every day of the year. Antigua is more lush
and hurricanes do happen here.Antigua is British.
The people are also very friendly and nice. Both
Islands have lots of excursions and duty free
shopping. They both accept American dollars and
you need a passport to visit the islands if you
fly from the USA.The difference really is
one(Antigua) can get hurricanes in Sept and the
other Aruba is mostly likely not be effected by
hurricanes. You are traveling in Sept and Sept and
Oct are the worst months for hurricanes. Something
to think about. They are both lovely islands.Good
Luck in your choice.

Question #39: how far is it from cruise ship terminal to queen beatrix airport aruba , and what is the least expensive way?
i need to pick up a rental car at alamo
Answer: Its not very far, less than 2 miles away. There
is a bus which would be the cheapest, although a
taxi would get you there faster. Taxi would cost
about $13.00. Many of the car rental companies
will pick you up at the cruise terminal for free.
Make your arrangements with them before you
