Question #1: i`m going to the dominican republic in november.can anybody tell me if it will be hot?thanks?
Answer: Well since the Dominican Republic is right beside
Haiti, I can tell you that it will be quite warm,
but the nights may be a little chilly. I don't
remember when I started layering on covers in the
night, but I believe that november was one of the
rainiest months when I was there. There was not as
much sun, so it was cool. The sun down there is
extraordinary though, a sunny day in January will
be between 70 and 75 degrees F, and in the night,
it will go down close to freezing. There was frost
on the ground one morning! But anyway, november
is still quite warm if you should be so lucky as
to have a sunny brake. Good luck :)

Question #3: Carribbean travel?
i was thinking or moving to the carrbiean becasue
i've been about 14 times and i'm in love with the
place! I've been to jamacia, dominican republic and
dominica ,However I'd like to try out some of the
other islands aswel..I was thinking of maybe
starting in bahamas, then going to cuba, dominican
republic, jamacia, puerto rica then down towards st
lucia and stuff. I really wanted a while on each
island to see what i liked best . ( im happy being
away for a while as im on a gap year) Maybe about
3 months spent in the carribbean. Does anyone have
any advice? ..On isolands for uk residents,
flight/boat travel..Anything!!lol
Answer: I 've been to Barbados twice and it is a fabulous
island.Lovely people and beautiful beaches.Very
safe and quite a bit to do and see.The west and
south coasts have the most accommodation but the
east coast is stunningly different and good for
surfing.I've also been to Cuba. The capital Havana
is steeped in history with amazing
architecture. There is loads to do there.Lots of
students go there to study Spanish.A communist
country though so the Cubans are not well off but
know how to enjoy themselves.Avoid Varradero as
this is a popular tourist area but everything is
hotel based and there is not much to see or
do.Watch thieves in Havana and people wanting to
befriend you but it really is worth a visit.Mail
me if you have any questions.

United States, and if i will need a pasport to get
there.

Question #6: Can someone give me an honest opinion about Breezes resort in DOminican Republic?
Besides that resort, also COUPLES OCHOS RIOS in
Jamaica... any advice would help! I am getting
conflicting reviews off orbitz and other travel
sites
Answer: I hear the breezes in punta cana is nice, but the
breezes in puerto plata is very dated and has bad
customer service. I stayed there in August 2006. I
wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I have a
detailed review with pics on tripadvisor.com

Question #7: Cancun or the Dominican Republic?
All inclusuve resorts for each are almost
identical in price, so it's down to what each has
to offer? Any input would be helpful.
Answer: They'll both be cozy in a resort.I'd guess DR will
have more international visitors, since some
Americans might be more afraid to go there.
Cancun will probably be more USA'ans. There's no
reason to be afraid to go to DR, it's just less
familiar than Cancun.
