Questions & Answers about Jamaica

Question #1: Which is cheapest in January: Bahamas, Jamaica, or Puerto Rico?
I know they're all going to be expensive during that time of year, but which would be cheapest for an all-inclusive resort and flight package? I don't want to completely break the bank, but my bf and I NEED to get away for a long weekend to escape from the NYC winter. Any ideas?I've done preliminary research, seems like last minute deals are cheaper than booking in advance. Is that just for October, or does that apply at any time of year? Which place would we most enjoy?

Answer: You're right, they are all expensive. Honestly, Cuba is a lot cheaper than any of those. It's nice there too, just find at least a 3 star...if you book last minute, all-inclusives can be like 3-500 bucks each for a week

Question #3: Been to Jamaica, Bahamas, DR, and Mexico......where to next?
Me and my friends have visited all those places over the past four years (we go on a vacation every year). We are want to go somewhere tropical again but we don't know what's fun for a bunch of twenty something, single girls (that we haven't already been to). Does anyone have any suggestions?

Answer: Depends on your budget and what activities/attractions interest you. Mexico will be cheapest, but there are many choices, from Cabo (avoid other Pacific destinations) to Playa Del Carmen and Cozumel. If your budget allows, the BVI's are a good bet.

Question #6: Jamaica or Bahamas trip help!!?
I need some info on how to go about booking an all inclusive trip to Jamaica or Bahamas on a tight budget. I also need to know how to go about paying for it in payments or installments because we can't afford to pay up front. Most places we went to won't even let us reserve or book anything without paying a huge down payment. Any ideas???? If there is another alternative besides all inclusive I'm open to that also. It's just that I heard all inclusive was the cheaper route to go.

Answer: WELL THERE IS A CRUISE SHIP THAT GOES TO GRAND BAHAMA DAILY FROM FT. LAUDERDALE AND ITS QUITE CHEAP. MEALS ARE INCLUDED AND THERE ARE ACTIVITIES ON BOARD. FREEPORT HAS AFFORDABLE HOTELS, YOUR BEST BET IS TO GO IN THE OFF SEASONS WHEN RATES WILL BE LOWER. GOOD LUCK AND I HOPE YOU ENJOY YOUR VACATION. PS. THE BAHAMAS HAS A WAY LOWER CRIME RATE THAN JAMAICA SO CONSIDER THAT TOO.
