Questions & Answers about Puerto Rico
Question #1: Where is a good and affordable honeymoon location in the Caribbean?
We are looking for a semi-private type of
place/resort with no kids allowed. We are on a
budget, and we'll be traveling in late June. We
are trying to avoid Jamaica and Puerto Rico. We
would prefer the Bahamas, the British Virgin
Islands or Antigua. Any suggestions?
Answer: My fiance and I are going to Cuba for our
honeymoon, the price is amazing compared to
anywhere else and since we booked early enough we
are more likely to get some of the honeymoon
perks.. I think that of the places that you would
like to go there is not a really affordable
option. In that case I would look at what type of
extras are included for a couple honeymooning and
just look at the prices now.

Question #3: Is marijuana legal on the island of Saint Martin? Saint martin is a province of the Netherlands.?
If it is legal, are there coffee shops there just
like in the Netherlands? Here is some more
information on the island of Saint Martin:St.
Martin is a tropical island in the northeast
Caribbean, approximately 300 km southeast of
Puerto Rico. The 87 km² island is divided roughly
in half between France and the Netherlands; it is
the smallest inhabited sea island divided between
two nations. * The southern Dutch half
comprises the Eilandgebied Sint Maarten (Island
area of St. Martin) and is part of the Netherlands
Antilles. * The northern French half comprises
the Collectivité de St.Martin (Collectivity of
St. Martin) and is a dependency of
France.Collectively, the two territories are known
as "St.-Martin/St. Maarten". Sometimes
SXM, the IATA identifier for Princess Juliana
International Airport (the island's main airport),
is used to refer to the island. Most helpful answer
gets 10 points!Thanks
Answer: no no and no.St Martaan is part of the Netherlands
Antilles, NOT a province of the Netherlands. The
Netherlands is Holland, NA and Curacao.....so not
all laws in Holland apply in SXM.

Question #7: Caribbean Vacation/Travel Suggestions for Young Couple? First Timers..?
We're a young couple interested in going to the
Caribbean for the first time in July or August,
for about a week or so. We're budget concious but
are happy spoiling ourselves if the reward is
worth the expense. We're not much into the party
scene anymore (been there done that, trust me!) so
we're looking for something more on the notion of
romantic and relaxing with a twist of fun or
perhaps extreme sports.I have free flight credits
from JetBlue so we're interested in using those
and going to somewhere JetBlue flies: Aruba, The
Bahamas (Nassau), Dominican Republic (Santiago,
Santo Domingo), or Puerto Rico (San Juan,
Aguadilla, Ponce). We do drink and can rack up some
outstanding bar tabs so an all-inclusive may be a
good idea for us but we have no real experience
with that either.Any suggestions on where to
travel to (island/country)? Or even more specific
as to actual hotel/resort?Thank you!
Answer: loved our honeymoon to all inclusive sandals
resort at Montego Bay Jamaica. The boos were all
included and several activities on the resort as
well such as watersking, kayaking, and snorkeling.
They also offer several oppertunites to go off the
resort for excursions (extra money). The food
wasnt terrible, but not that great either.
Entertainment on the resort was pretty cool. Total
cost was about 4000

Question #8: How far is Nassau, Bahamas to San Juan, Puerto Rico?
Answer: It is about 850 miles, however most commercial
flights would fly to South Florida (Miami, Fort
Lauderdale) first to change planes so it would be
about 3 hours by plane.
