tours/excursions (horseback riding or hiking)?

information would be very helpful, thanks so
much!!!

Question #2: Can anyone compare these two resorts for me?? We don't know where we want to go yet, but this would help us
decide. Couples resorts or Sandals? I have heard
good about both and some bad about both which
makes it so hard to decide? It will be for a
honeymoon and we want to do alittle of everything,
relax, swim, drink, eat, ride horses, dance, pretty
much want the option to do as we please! Can
anyone give me reasons why you enjoyed or didn't
enjoy either resort? I would really appreciate
your answers, so we can decide on something!!Also
I just wanted to add the resorts we have looked
into are Couples Swept Away, Couples Ocho Rios,
Couples Sans Souci, and Sandals St. Lucian Grand.
We love the idea of all inclusive, but just need
more feedback about these resorts! Thanks again!
Answer: Check out this site for reviews and tons of candid
photos. http://www.tripadvisor.comCheck out
the Jamaica Sandals's reviews and go from there. It
really helps to read a bunch of reviews. I feel
most of the reviews on trip advisor are very
sincere and valid. You are spending a good deal of
money and you do need some direction. I would also
go to my local travel agency because they have
many connections and they will be a backup in case
something isn't quite right. We always do our
research but book with a travel agency. They
always match prices and often are cheaper.Good
Luck and Congratulations.

Question #3: Has anyone ever stayed at this resort in St. Lucian?
The Sandals Grande St. Lucian Spa and resort? In
the Ultra Luxury Beach Rondoval Suite w/ Private
Plunge Pool and whirlpool? If you have I would
love to know what you thought about it and if you
had any suggestions on whether you would recommend
staying there or not? If yes why and if not
why, please I need some help deciding on a
Honeymoon spot and so far this is my top
choice! Thanks for any help given! Also would you
recommend your favorite place to stay while
traveling to these places? I really would like
all- inclusive, I hear that is a much better deal
if you drink and well I drink! And it seems soo
much easier to have all food and drinks paid for!
I like the idea of knowing it's all paid for-
except for the extras we do.
Answer: I haven't stayed at that resort but I've seen it
and been around St Lucia. I find the whole island
to be very depressing. It is a very beautiful
island and a great botannical garden that
Napoleon's Josephine gave to the people. Touring
the island by helicopter is cool. And some great
restaurants. But the people have about 48%
unemployment and it shows in their attitude.
Everyone looks miserable. Dasheen is a fabulous
restaurant to eat and see the sunset (make a
reservation). I didn't care for the island
near as much as other islands I have been to and
wouldn't go back. Have you looked at Tahiti?
Fantastic place for a honeymoon. Takes a good
chunk of money though. Bora Bora or Huahine or do
both. Maybe even Vahini Island Resort for two
nights, then Huahine then Bora Bora. You will love
those places. About 10 to 12 grand for 10 nights
would cover everything.. St Lucia has "Jump
Up" street dances at night and very very loud
music that the locals do and last al night because
too many people have no reason to get up in the
morning. If you want no crowds try the Bahamas,
like Eleuthera, rent a house on a beach where you
will see no one at all probably. Great honeymoon
for just the two of you. Super friendly people.
My vote is Eleuthera or Tahitian Islands for a
honeymoon.

Question #6: Sandals Resort for a honeymoon????
My husband and I are debating on where to go for
our honeymoon. We have decided that we want to
stay at one of the Sandals resorts. BUT the
sandals resort is in all different places in the
caribbean. Does anybody have any experiences on
going to any of the sandals resorts??? Please
tell me which ones are the best.
Answer: I went to the Sandals Grande in St. Lucia and I am
dying to go back. It was brand new when we went in
'03. We spent 10 days there on our honeymoon. We
had the best time. It was very nice, spacious,
people were friendly, clean, etc. There was great
food and great drinks. They upgraded us when we
walked in and served champagne upon check in. You
can have bottles of liquor brought to your
room...There are 3 Sandals resorts in St. Lucia
and the Grande was the best from what I saw. (As
you can visit and eat at all 3). The other 2
resorts didn't even compare IMO. The resort is on
a peninsula so you have a cross-breeze all the
time so it is not even that hot...The island is
gorgeous and there is soo much to do. We had the
time of our lives. Check it out at sandals.com.
St. Lucia is great.
