Question #31: Has anyone ever stayed at the Sandals resort in St. Lucia? Would you recommend it for a honeymoon?
Answer: I have been to 10 different islands in the
Caribbean... some multiple times.... St Lucia is
my favorite island and I would go there in a
heartbeat again. It's very lush and tropical and
you should definately take a tour one day...
there's one that has 1/2 day on a catamaran and
1/2 day touring from Souffrie through a
drive-through volcano, to a plantation for lunch,
and through the tropics. I've done that one twice
and I love it. Definately do the catamaran
though... I've stayed at the one Sandals resort
there - the Grande St Lucia Spa and Beach Resport.
It's fantastic! The location is great and the
beach is superb. It's also closer to town if you
want to go in they have a big street fair once a
week. You can also go to the other 2 resorts for
dinner or golf if you want... but I didn't. It is
great for honeymoons because it is all couples.
It's also quiet and romantic and the staff will
treat you like gold. They push the swim-up rooms,
but I don't think you need one. If you can get
one facing the beach, I think those are better and
less expensive :)Have a great time!!!

Question #32: Any good resort ideas for a honeymoon leaving from Florida?
I have been on some cruises but never done the
"resort" vacations. Any ideas? Are the
Sandals resorts any good? What are the approximate
costs leaving from Jacksonville for about a week
to any of them?
Answer: Check apple vacations. They do vacation packages
for the carribean. You can call them and speak to
one of their agents for specific information and
some advice. I used them for a trip to cancun,
and their agents are all very helpful. Have
fun. http://www.applevacations.com

Question #33: What to do in St. Lucia, with little money?
I'm going on a limited budget, need fun things to
do outside all-inclusive hotel. Also best place(s)
there to by cheap souviners.I am going in January,
for a delayed honeymoon. Also, how's Coconut bay
resort and spa? Any help on anything would be much
appreciated!!! Thanks.
Answer: Take a tour and negotiate the deal. A drive in to
thevolcano is worth the few dollars - we think.
Buy your soveniers from the locals on the road
side. But please do not try to cheat them - they
need the money.

Question #34: Is it better to book a honeymoon through a travel agent, or simply do it myself on-line?
I plan on going to St. Lucia with my soon to be
wife and stay at a Sandals Resort
Answer: You should at least go to a travel agent, since
they will have a better ability to find out what
is going on when you want to go, room rates,
discounts, events on the island, etc...Then you
can check on-line for better rates. But I would
say go with te travel agent. They can deal with
the headache, you will have enough to worry about!

Question #35: Sandals Honeymoon Resorts........?
My fiance and I are planning on going to a Sandals
Resort for our honeymoon in March. I have already
been to Jamaica but was looking into St. Lucia,
Antigua, or even Bahamas locations. Has anyone
been to any of their resort locations. I really
like all of the activities and how everything
under the sun is included. Both of us work long
hour weeks and with all of the wedding planning we
are both in dire need of a relaxing get-a-way. I
want somewhere tropical semi-secluded, and very
relaxing. If anyone has had experience with the
Sandals Resorts I would love your input???? Thanks
Answer: try Malaysia or Philippines so many beautiful
white sand beaches

Question #37: What is the best island to stay at in the Caribbean?
Looking for honeymoon ideas, Looking for an All
inclusive, with activities, good snorkeling, site
seeing off of the "resort" i.e.
waterfalls, parks ect. Something that is not as
touristy as Jamaica or the Bahama's but still has
activities.
Answer: Usually the resort Islands which tend to be either
English or Dutch. Too small to support a
population of any real size and dedicated to
tourism or a semi lucrative small industry like
fishing boats. These will tend to be quite
expensive. Anywhere else will be politically
unstable irrespective of the stats or communist or
semi communist entities. Too, it should be
considered piracy still does exist.

Question #39: which is the best sandals resort for a wedding/honeymoon? we prefer something with alot of activities.?
Answer: Most all the Sandals resorts offer the same
activities. Golf is limited to two resorts.
Check their web site for the locations that offer
weddings and see what activities are offered. Not
knowing what activities you like I cannot
recommend a specific resort. At an all inclusive
resort you never need to leave the grounds. If
you are interested in sight seeing, shopping, etc,
you may want to consider the location of the
resort for access to off site activities. Many of
the resorts are located away from the major
cities. You may also want to look into Superclubs.
while they may not be as luxurious, I found them
more reasonable in price when I booked thru
expedia for my wedding.

Question #40: where should I go for my honeymoon in July? Is a tropical destination out of the question?
I have always wanted to go to the Carribean or an
all-inclusive resort somewhere tropical.
(romantic, on the ocean, adults only etc) I am
concerned that July is a bad time of year for a
tropical vacation. I really want to leave for the
honeymoon right after the wedding (july 14th). I
am afraid most places will be too hot or hurricane
season. I am not opposed to staying in the U.S.
but my guess is Florida would be too hot and I've
really never been anywhere else. Any ideas would
be greatly appreciated!
Answer: Try CROATIA
