Question #13: Airfare sales to the Caribbean or Central America??? Please help!?
I'm having a horrible time finding affordable airfare this summer for the month of August. I would love to go back to Belize, but I can't find affordable roundtrip airfare. I have to buy two roundtrip tickets and the cheapest flight including taxes and fees has been around $550 each. I have put in for flexible dates and checked a few different airlines. I would also travel to a different destination in Central America or the Carribean if the price was right. Please help and give any insight have you regarding sales or deals. I really appreciate it, thanks.

Answer: Recently American airlines had flights to the Caribbean on sale. Tickets normally go on sale Tues- Wed, so check on those days. Also expedia and priceline had airfare sales. And keep checking discount sites so they can do the comparison shopping for you.

Question #14: Hello, I would like to spend two weeks in Grand Cayman.?
I am leaving on my own, and I would like to spend my time writing (my beloved hobby) but also meeting new people. Do you have any suggestions? Is it possible to rent a room for one person?I would rather stay at a private house than spending much on hotels - the flight from Italy seems quite expensive in fact. ...Thanks to anyoneAnnaPS If you actually are grom Grand Cayman, ...write a few more lines ...

Answer: Hi, There are a few bed an breakfasts in the cayman islands, if you search Yahoo you can find them. I would say this, Cayman is not a bargain travel destination, it is an upper end destination, things are not cheap, and that helps keep the standard of living here high. You could also contact the Cayman Net News, or Cayman Compass and place an add, best on a Friday, in the classifieds section. Flights are not that expensive, comparable to anywhere else, you can get a direct from London on British Airways, for a reasonable amount.

Question #15: Cheapest time of year for flights to the Caribbean?
What is the cheapest time of year for flights from the usa to a caribbean destination?

Answer: Usually summer, because no one wants to go to the Caribbean in the summer, for it is over 100 degrees there and humid. Also, it's hurricane season, so out of fear, no one wants to go. Summer is really the off-season for traveling to the Caribbean.
