Question #2: 1st time cruiser....Royal Caribbean or Carnival?!?
My g/f and I are planning a cruise to Mexico (3-5 days) from Los Angelas. I'm still debating on which cruise line to choose. This is our 1st cruise and we just want to experience it! I've heard Carnival is a more "party" atmoshere. We are both into the club scene but would like to be on a cruise where we can experience everything from the swimming pools to the dining. Also does anybody know what the weather will be like at this time of the year in Mexico?

Answer: If you are under 30, go with carnival.Hurricane season, good luck!(get the insurance)

Question #4: Have you traveled on the Carnival Fascination, Sensation?
We are planning a cruise to the Bahamas for November. We have found mixed comments about the Carnival Fascination and Sensation cruises, so we're wondering if anyone has traveled on either one of them, even more so if you have done so with children. We have a four-year old. Also, if you know much about any of the the Royal Caribbean International cruises, I would appreciate any comments.THX!

Answer: Hi, I havent on none of the cruises you specified but what I have done when I need a little inside experience is I go to www.youtube.com and believe it or not there are people who actually put videos or slide shows of their trips and if you specify in the search area like Carnival Sensation or Fascination maybe if your lucky enough people have gone to the same place you want to go and you can see a little of the ports and the cruise ship itself. I do that when I've been on my cruises it really helps.. like that you can see what you like and what you dont like =)Anyway just a thought... I hope you find what your looking for.Have a great time!

Question #6: Royal Caribbean vs Carnival Cruise line. Which is better?

Answer: I have not been on a Royal cruise but I've been many times on a Carnival cruise and it's great. There really isn't anything they will deny you. The rooms are pretty big and so comfortable. They clean them so well. The ships are beautiful, food is out of this world and there is free room service availabe and a 24 hr pizzaria. Entertainment is so much fun and everyone is so nice. Hope I was of some help.

Question #7: Should I go to the Eastern or Western Caribbean?
We are taking a Carnival Cruise next spring, but I am trying to decide on whether to go to the Eastern or Western Caribbean. Any suggestions, experiences or excursion advice would be great. Thank you!

Answer: Both are very different. Eastern is Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands. Western includes Mexico, Grand Cayman, Belize, Jamicia, etc....It really doesn't matter you should have a great time either way. I've been all over the Carribean and I can still say my very favorite places are Cozumel and Grand Cayman.

Question #10: Carnival Cruise 7/23/07 to Western Caribbean 5days, from New Orleans....Help!!!!!!!?
My boyfriend and I are going on a cruise for the first time and we really don't know what to expect~we know about the $10 p/d per person for gratuity~we'll be sitting with strangers at dinner~not really sure what to wear for the formal night, is it more "prom-ish or churchy"?~on days out at sea, what is there to do??? we're 21 and 22~what is considered resort wear for women????~we've already booked a shore excursion for snorkeling in Costa Maya...any other suggestions????~haven't booked any for Cozumel yet because there's a larger selection.....any ideas of some good ones???? preferably inexpensive, but accepting allBy the way, my boyfriend is in the US NAVY and will be going to Japan in August for 2 yrs, so I want this to be very special for us!!! If u guys have any ideas about how i can make this a great "going away event" for him too, please write any suggestions that u may have!!!!!!!! Thanks!!!!!!!!!

Answer: In Cozumel, take a taxi to Chakkanaab Park. It is excellent snorkeling there. You can either take your own equipment or rent theirs. It is only about a 10 minute taxi ride from the pier. If your ship goes to Grand Cayman, take the shore excursion to swim with the stingrays at StingRay City. It is the most awesome adventure (100% safe) you have ever had.
