Question #1: Royal Caribbean cruise transportation from Orlando International Airport to Port Canaveral?
Can anyone tell me the best/cheapest way to get
from Orlando International Airport to wherever
Royal Caribbean launches their cruise ships from
Port Canaveral? Some kind of shuttle thing would
be great, or if you have any idea about a rough
estimate for cab service or a bus. Thanks.
Answer: We did this is February and will be doing it again
in April. The shuttles are expensive upwards of
$100 each way. We rented a car at Orlando for $30,
dropped it off in Port Canaveral and took the free
shuttle to the ship! It was easy and cheap. We
used Enterprise and had no problem. We did the
exact reverse for our way back. A huge benefit of
having a car is you can stop at the store get a
few things for the cruise, take your time etc. We
had a lot of time between the cruise getting in
and our fight out so we drove around the Canaveral
Area, spotting great wild life and beautiful
beaches. This is the cheapest way to go, maybe not
as convenient as a shuttle but much more flexible
too.You can e-mail me if you need to.

times and in the Viking Lounge the DJ's name was
DJ SavioReport It
Answer: Call the corporate office and ask them to find out

Question #3: Royal Caribbean, which should i take?.?
i have two options, liberty of the seas with an
oceanview, or Serenade of the seas southern
caribbean with a balcony, this cruise will take
place in March 29- April 5 2008 will the boats be
rocking alot? i have heard that the ship rocked
every single night on the southern caribbean
cruise. do you think it will happen this spring
break?
Answer: I have been on two southern Caribbean cruises.
One was to Aruba and Curazao this past May and the
other was a couple years ago as far south are
Barbados and Grenada. The sailing both times was
great, very smooth. Some people worry about getting
sea sick, but the ships being used these days have
automated stabilizers which minimize the rocking.
The larger ships cut through the water so easy
that you don’t even feel like you are moving.
When there is bad weather the cruise lines will
steer around and away from it, sometimes changing
the order of port stops. Also, the ships
generally move overnight and dock in the mornings
so you don’t feel much movement. Consequently,
your chances of getting sea sick are minimal.
There is generally less motion than on an
airplane. If you do get sick, all ships have a
doctor and they will dispense sea sick medicines.
If you are prone to motion sickness, just get
pills or a patch from your own doctor before you
go, or go to a boating store and get a sea
sickness bracelet.I have not been on the Liberty
(yet) but I have been on the Freedom which is
identical and that ship is so large that the
motion of the ocean does not bother it at all.
You will hardly know that you are moving on it. I
always recommend that people get the balcony cabin
as it really enhances your cruise ecperience.

Question #6: Royal Caribbean Cruise.Luggage weight limit?
We are driving down to the port the day before our
cruise. I would like to know the weight limit for
Royal Caribbean Majesty of the Sea? Is it per
person or per room? This is our first cruise.
How many are we allowed to carry-on? What size do
they have to be?
Answer: First of all, have fun on your cruise! I've been
on 2 RC cruises and 1 Carnival cruise and nothing
was said about weight limits. There were 4 people
in my stateroom and we each had 1 piece of
luggage. We were traveling with other people who
brought 2 pieces each. I don't think they really
restrict you when it comes to luggage.Edit: I just
looked it up on rc.com and it says you can have
200 pounds of personal property per person.

Question #8: Know anything about a Royal Caribbean (or any cruise line) wedding in Juneau Alaska?
I am considering getting married in Juneau, Alaska
as part of our Royal Caribbean cruise (either the
glacier or rain forest). I would like information
from anyone who has done this (even if it was
something similar on a different cruise line or at
a different port) or knows someone who has. Were
you happy with it? Would you recommend it? What
are the pros/cons? Any information you have would
be great.

Question #9: Royal Caribbean or MSC for Mediterranean cruise?
We are planning a cruise for our honeymoon, and
are deciding between 2 similar cruises leaving at
the same time.Royal Caribbean: Venice, Athens,
Mykonos, Katakolon, Corfu, Split, and back to
Venice.MSC: Venice, Bari, Katakolon, Santorini and
Mykonos on the same day, Athens, Corfu, Dubrovnik,
and back to VeniceWe are in our mid 20s, so it
would be nice to have other people closer to our
age on the boat, but not absolutely necessary. We
would prefer a more "relaxed" atmosphere
on the boat as opposed to feeling scheduled in.
Has anyone had experiences with either of these
cruiselines? What do you think?
Answer: Royal Caribbean is the best
