Questions & Answers about Caribbean Cruise
Question #21: I am planning a caribbean cruise in January, which cruiseline is the best?
I am traveling with my best friend and we only
have a 5 day window in which we can get the time
off of work. We want to go on a cruise leaving
from Miami but have never gone on a cruise. What
sort of things should we know a head of time? Is
it better to have an oceanside room or interior?
Is January a good time to go on a cruise?I have
been looking at fares on orbitz.com and
expedia.com, are those good places to look?
Answer: Be prepared to pay a lot because January is prime
time for the cruise industry. Oceanside rooms are
more expensive than interior rooms. You don't
spend that much time in your room anyway because
of the many activities there are to enjoy on a
cruise, from tours of the ports of call to evening
shows. It's also easy to gain weight on a cruise
because there's food available almost every hour
of the day. Many cruises have exercise programs
to combat those extra calories.Personally I have
taken cruises on Royal Carribbean and Carnival and
had a great time on both.

Question #22: Ever been on the Adventure of the Seas...Royal Caribbean Cruise Line?
We are sailing the south Caribbean (St. Thomas,
St. Marteen, Aruba and leaving from Puerto Rico);
has anyone had experience on this liner. We are
used to a smaller cruise and are worried that
their are 3500 people on this boat. Please write
me a review if you have any experience with this
boat.Thanks.
Answer: A great ship and alot of fun !The ship is plenty
big to accomodate the passengers, so don't worry
about the service - it' second to none. There will
be plenty to do all day and night. The itinerary
you have is a good one as well - we have done that
cruise a couple of times.

Question #23: best eastern caribbean cruise lines...?
Looking for an eastern Caribbean cruise line -
what is the best for young upbeat couple - no
children going. Looking for good fun, onboard
entertainment and good off shore runs.
Answer: I think that Royal Caribbean would be a good
choice. They have good Eastern Caribbean cruises.
There will be some kids onboard, but not nearly as
many as lines like either Carnival or Disney (not
sure if this is important) Carnival is more of a
budget line, it is considered more of a Las Vegas
style atmosphere. This is also a popular option
for adults, but will have more kids.Princess is
going to be a little more expensive, but will have
fewer kids onboard. This is a very popular option
for adults, it is a little more classy than some
of the more budget-friendly cruises. Here is a link
that should help: http://cruisecritic.com/ports/area.cfm?area=8
